Manual Update

To manually update the spyware database:

1. Go to www.scanspyware.net and download latest spyware database from ScanSpyware Update box.
2. The downloaded file will be a compressed ZIP file. Extract the file and move it to ScanSpyware installation directory i.e. 'C:\Program Files\ScanSpyware v3.8.0.x' where 'x' stand for the build of ScanSpyware that is installed in your computer.
3. Start ScanSpyware and click on the 'Settings' button as shown in fig.1.

4. Click the browse button i.e. the button with caption '...' and select the new database file, you just moved to ScanSpyware installation directory.
5. Click 'Apply' button to complete manual update.
