Description: Banker.GK is a password stealing trojan that attempts to steal account information related to certain bank sites. This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites. This Trojan monitors the Internet Explorer activities of the affected system, specifically the address and title bars. It recreates a legitimate Web site with a spoofed login page if a user visits certain banking sites. This Trojan attempts to steal sensitive online banking information, such as user names and passwords, which may then lead to the unauthorized use of the stolen data.
